In a farming-based country like India, it is very important for farmers to become self-dependent. Only when farmers are strong and independent can they grow better crops and improve their lives. Keeping this in mind, NPCPL (Nandiraj Producer Company Limited) has created a plan called NPCPL Gramotthan Sankalp. This plan also supports the Indian Government’s goal to double farmers' income. Under the 10,000 FPO (Farmer Producer Organization) scheme, the central government—through NABARD—is helping farmers with money and support. NPCPL is working on three main goals under this plan: 1. Self-Reliant Farmer Plan 2. Self-Dependent Women Plan 3. Youth Employment Plan Farmers will be trained to make their own seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. If something cannot be made locally, NPCPL will provide it at a lower cost. This will help reduce the cost of farming. To help farmers get the right price for their crops, small village industries will be set up. NPCPL will also help in selling these products. For this, the government supports forming Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) so that farming becomes a more profitable business. Why FPOs are Important Small and landless farmers face many problems like lack of good seeds, fertilizers, money, and technology. They also struggle to sell their produce at good prices. To solve these problems, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) have been created. These help farmers come together, work as a group, and improve their farming and income.
